Vamp with Scrawl Writer/Director Peter Hearn
from Scream Addicts Hosted by Jinx Jenkins | Brad Bear
This week on Scream Addicts, Jinx welcomes Peter Hearn to the show. The writer/director of the Daisy Ridley-starring comic book horror thriller Scrawl, Mr. Hearn has chosen Richard Wenk’s 1986 horror-comedy Vamp for discussion this week. Mr. Hearn and Jinx discuss the film’s potent blend of comedy and horror, their first experiences with the film, and the film’s status as a bit of a forgotten film. Along the way, the two discuss Grace Jones’ iconic look and turn as Katrina, Vamp’s influence on From Dusk Till Dawn, and…Dolph Lundgren?! It’s a wonderful chat with a fantastic guest, and it’s one we hope you enjoy.
