VAMPIRE IN BROOKLYN (1995) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch | Eddie Murphy | Angela Bassett

Achara and Vivian have some laughs (and scares) with the dark and campy classic, Vampire in Brooklyn for the first time! A suave vampire arrives in Brooklyn in search of a destined mate, only to find himself entangled in a battle between love, evil, and his own humanity. Vampire in Brooklyn was directed by Wes Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, The People Under the Stairs). The film stars Eddie Murphy (Coming to America, Beverly Hills Cop, The Nutty Professor) as Maximillian, Angela Bassett (What’s Love Got to Do with It, Black Panther, Waiting to Exhale) as Detective Rita Veder, Allen Payne (Jason’s Lyric, The Cosby Show, The Perfect Storm) as Detective Justice, Kadeem Hardison (A Different World, White Men Can’t Jump, Def by Temptation) as Julius Jones, and John Witherspoon (Friday, The Wayans Bros., Boomerang) as Silas Green. Supporting roles include Zakes Mokae (The Serpent and the Rainbow, Cry Freedom, Outbreak), Joanna Cassidy (Blade Runner, Six Feet Under, Who Framed Roger Rabbit), and Simbi Khali (3rd Rock from the Sun, We Were Soldiers, Martin).
