vampirehollie - ROSE
from Pitch Perfect Hosted by Landon Hayes
"Vampirehollie" captures a haunting blend of vulnerability and raw emotion, tucked away as a bonus track on Rosé’s debut album, "Rosie." The track’s stripped-back production, with its reverb-heavy guitar and echoing piano, sets the stage for lyrics that ache with bittersweet nostalgia. Rosé’s voice, both husky and delicate, pulls you into a story of lingering memories and unresolved feelings, with lines like “Angel hearts and a cute name, hate that I can remember every evil thing you say” cutting straight to the core. It’s an intimate, almost confessional piece that feels like reading someone’s diary—beautifully personal and impossible to shake.
