Vance vs El-Sayed Personal Attacks | US News

Vice President JD Vance unleashes a fiery response to Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, calling it “weird” that El-Sayed keeps dragging Vance’s wife Usha and his grandfather into the political fray—and demanding he “keep my wife’s name the hell out of your mouth.” The feud spirals as El-Sayed, who previously tied Vance’s anti-Sharia stance to white supremacy, retorts with cheeky social media jabs, including a meme suggesting Usha should take her husband back in time to meet his grandfather. El-Sayed later clarifies his intent, arguing Vance believes some are “more American than others” based on ancestry. Vance counters by attacking El-Sayed’s past associations and his handling of a synagogue attack, urging him to focus on policy. The exchange escalates further when El-Sayed comments on Vance’s children and directly tells Usha she still has time to leave—framing his criticisms as a battle against “evil” policies like healthcare cuts. El-Sayed’s camp calls Vance’s tactics divisive and self-serving, revealing how personal attacks have become central to this high-stakes race.
