Vancouver Officers Assaulted by 15-Year-Old Suspect

A 15-year-old suspect weighing over 200 pounds put a Vancouver Police officer in a headlock and attempted to grab his gun during a violent struggle on Washington Street. The juvenile tore equipment from the officer's vest and threw his keys across the parking lot before being arrested on multiple charges including attempted robbery and assault on law enforcement. One officer required hospital evaluation.
