Vandalism and train burning costs PRASA one billion rand

SAfm — The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) has in the past two years lost almost one-billion rand through train fires, vandalism, public disorder, train collisions and floods. This emerged during a media briefing by Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula, to outline some challenges and progress made in turning around the struggling state-owned company.
