By Today, For Tomorrow… On today’s episode, we continue our conversation around sustainability in creative industries with a leading figure in the ethical fashion realm, Vanessa Barboni Hallik. Her brand, Another Tomorrow, launched its first collection in 2020 under the three pillars of human, environmental, and animal welfare. The company achieved B-corp certification that same year and has introduced an array of transparent, easy-to-navigate information on their materials and production stories. For the current 2021-2022 academic year, Vanessa Barboni Hallik serves as SCAD’s luxury and brand management department mentor. Paula Wallace, along with a virtual audience of SCAD students, caught up with Vanessa to learn more about her road to Another Tomorrow, the brand’s unique practices, and how the industry as a whole can enact widespread positive change.
