Here's the question for this morning. The average thirty-year fixed mortgage rate finally fell. So is the worst over? Not by the numbers yet. The Freddie Mac weekly survey, released Thursday, put the average thirty-year fixed rate at seven point three two percent. That's down from seven point four zero the week before, according to Scripps News. It was the first weekly decline since late August, and it ended a seven-week climb to the highest level since 2023.
