Vanished

Imagine you and your friend are out for a hike on a well traveled trail. You have passed numerous other people, everyone is having a great time. Your friend walks ahead to check out something farther up on the trail and when you turn around the trail they are gone with no trace whats so ever. This sounds like to a plot to a horror movie but it is a very real reality.
