Vanished Voices - Frederick Valentich
from Vanished Voices Hosted by Vanished Voices Venue
Welcome to Vanished Voices where today we will be discussing the 1978 disappearance of Australian pilot Frederick Valentich, who vanished during a flight over the Bass Strait. Valentich’s last radio transmission reported an unidentified aircraft following him, describing it as metallic, shiny, and emitting a green light. Despite extensive searches, no trace of Valentich or his plane was ever found. The event sparked numerous theories, ranging from a staged disappearance to a crash caused by disorientation or a possible extraterrestrial encounter. While the official report concluded that the disappearance was "presumed fatal," the mystery persists, becoming a staple of UFO folklore and a reminder of the vastness and mysteries of the universe.
