In this month’s podcast Ilka focuses on her exciting new exhibition, "Art & Horse Racing" due to be held at her Saint Wendred’s yard over the Guineas weekend on the first weekend in May. Ilka talks about what she has planned for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May where a galaxy of artists from all around the world will be exhibiting a wide variety of art, including sculptures in a beautiful racing yard along the Hamilton Road near the famous Rowling Mile racecourse where Classic racing will be taking place. On Saturday 6 May the exhibition will be open for a private viewing invitation only after the 2000 Guineas while on Sunday 7, 1000 Guineas Day the general public will be able to see the exhibition between 10am- 6pm Art & Horse Racing over a classic weekend in Ilka’s fabulous racing yard you couldn’t ask for more. During this week’s episode Co host Stephen Wallis chats to one of the artists Emily Johnson, the resident artist at Cheltenham racecourse to find out how pleased she is to be part of this unique exhibition.
