Vape use among young adults has tripled over last decade

from KYW Newsradio Audio On-Demand

The number of young adults using vapes has more than tripled over the past decade. A record high number — more than 1 in 10 — say they use marijuana every day. And about the same are sticking those Zyn nicotine pouches under their lips — that number, more than doubling over the last year. A new study from the National Institutes of Health and the University of Michigan finds alcohol is still by far the most commonly-used substance by all adults. But drinking has dropped to historic lows and continues its downward trend. (Photo: Getty Images)
