Antisemitismen ökar efter Hamas terrorattack i Israel och det pågående kriget i Gaza. Är det en ny antisemitism eller är det samma antisemitism nu som då? Det visar en rapport från Segerstedtinstitutet vid Göteborgs universitet som kom ut i veckan (slutet av september 2024). Ökningen har skett efter Hamas blodiga attack den 7 oktober och sedan Israel startade kriget i Gaza med målet att utplåna Hamas. Så fort Israel-Palestinakonflikten blossar upp ökar också antisemitismen. Men har konflikten sin egen antisemitism eller är det samma återkommande föreställningar om judar?Antisemitismen efter 7 oktober och kriget i GazaDet mänskliga lidandet och förödelsen i Gaza har lett till stora protester, återkommande demonstrationer och vid flera universitet har studenter krävt att universiteten avbryter samarbeten med Israel. Men protesterna har också haft inslag av antisemitism. En del beskriver Israel som ett kolonialt projekt. Det finns forskare som anser att de postkoloniala och antirasistiska perspektiven leder till att antisemitismen kommer bort: judar blir vita förtryckare.
