Vargas’ Homer Halts Game in Rain | Cleveland Guardians News

Miguel Vargas crushed a towering three-run homer in the fifth inning to give the White Sox a 3-1 lead, marking his 20th home run of the season after a gritty at-bat filled with fouls. But just as he rounded the bases, rain poured in, forcing a delay at 8:21 PM. Earlier, Cleveland had taken an early edge thanks to Travis Bazzana’s RBI single — part of his hot streak since June. With the game suspended, fans wait to see when the Guardians and White Sox can resume this nail-biting matchup.
