Honest measures, no occult practices, integrity in sexuality, and boundaries around mixtures (kilayim) all shape a distinctive people. Chapter 20 adds penalties for grave transgressions and calls Israel to be set apart. Themes to listen for: holiness woven into justice, love as law, and difference in service of dignity.
