from VB in the Middle Hosted by #427890
Today's Topics: We kick off the show by sharing a funny story of how the Governor of Mississippi accidentally read "Harry Azcrac" as a name when conducting a virtual graduation ceremony! Then, VB dives into a column out of the Boston Globe that agrees with Rep. Ayanna Pressley's statement that "opening the state could close more caskets". Also, food and drink writer Kerry Byrne talks to VB about the hard hit restaurants have been taking. Additionally, Boston City Councilor Annissa Essaibi-George shares her thoughts with VB on starting a Small Business Task Force in the wake of Governor Baker's phased reopening plan. Also, Somerville Joe Curtatone joins VB to discuss the city's slower reopening plan than the rest of the state. Hear all of this on today's show, here.
