Vedanta and the Near Death Experience - Swami Mahayogananda

Medical science, specifically the field of Resuscitation Medicine, is discovering a widespread phenomenon: some people who have died and been resuscitated recall extraordinary experiences, during which they floated above their bodies, or entered an infinite light, or met deceased relatives. This phenomenon was first called the “Near Death Experience” by Dr Raymond Moody. In this lecture, Swami Mahayogananda discusses the Near Death Experience from a Vedantic perspective.
