Today I got my homie Michael "Vegas" Gialketsis on the podcast. Growing up in Las Vegas his life changed being diagnosed as type one diabetic at 9 years old. At 13 years he was sent to his first treatment center where he found his love of playing music. Having a endless supply of syringes his drug use progressed a heavy drug addiction to alcohol, meth and heroin. After multiple rehab trips and 3 heroin overdoses in one week, he moved to San Diego were he finally finds recovery. He has been clean and sober 6/27/18 .Vegas build a new life for himself being a father ,working in treatment , being a active member in the recovery community and playing music.
