Vegas Blow Torch Chase Ends in Blood | Las Vegas News

A woman in Vegas called 911 screaming she was being chased with a blowtorch and had been shot — prompting a chaotic, high-stakes police response that turned into a deadly standoff. Officers stormed the house on Pigeon Point Court, only to be fired upon by the suspect through a door — one officer was hit, but stable. SWAT eventually took down the suspect and a juvenile female inside, both dead at the scene. The caller escaped with minor injuries. This marks Metro’s 10th officer-involved shooting this year — a grim milestone following another fatal incident just last week.
