They’re pretending like fans don’t exist, while 10,000+ show up in a temporary ballpark. We’ll break down the numbers and show why the fans are doing their part while MLB keeps pretending they aren’t. Second, let’s talk Las Vegas. Everyone keeps saying the A’s will draw once they land on the Strip. But where’s the evidence? We’ll look at the realities of Vegas sports attendance, the Mirage that is tourist support, and why expecting 30,000 people per night is the biggest gamble of all. Third, we follow the money — or lack of it. Where exactly is John Fisher getting the rest of the cash to build this $1.5 billion stadium? Spoiler alert: it ain’t falling out of his trust fund.
