Vegas Gets a Cool Break | Las Vegas News

Vegas just got a much-needed reprieve from the heatwave thanks to a cool front and a Pacific low-pressure system—temps are dipping below 100 for the first time since July 17th, with highs around 97 expected through the weekend. This summer has been record-breaking: August 1 hit 115°, July was the third warmest on record at 96.6°, and we even had six straight days with lows at or above 90°—a new record. Rain chances are slim today (15%) but jump to 50% Friday—so grab your umbrella. It’s a welcome, if brief, cooldown after an intense summer.
