Vegas Man Arrested for Hate Symbol Vandalism | Las Vegas News

A 73-year-old man in Vegas is behind bars after police linked him to a wave of politically charged vandalism—swastikas spray-painted on campaign signs, including one defacing Governor Gavin Newsom’s image. The damage? Over $5,000. Authorities used license plate readers to ID the suspect, David Smith, who’s facing charges and a $3,000 bail. The hate symbols were clearly aimed at the political battle between Democratic candidate Aaron Ford and Republican Joe Lombardo. Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking the public for tips. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
