VEGCAST 85 - BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITIES

Vegcast 85 comprises two big trips out of town. One is to midtown Manhattan, where we report from Horizons chefs Rich and Kate making a second groundbreaking appearance at the prestigious James Beard House, and the other is to Las Vegas, where we find a veggie turkey sandwich and a local vegan expert, Chef Mayra, to explain vegan Vegas to us. We hear a track from a new band called The Pleasants, and there is a sobering Science Fact about the spread of heavy metals among whales worldwide.
