Veiling the Unveiled

Life got loud. Work travel, mounting deadlines, old dogs held together by a small pharmacy worth of medication, and community commitments all arriving at once. And somewhere in the noise, without even noticing, I put up a veil between myself and God. Not because He stepped back. Because I stopped looking up. In this episode we sit with the moment the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom at Christ's death, and ask the question that changes everything: did that event bring God closer, or did it simply reveal that He was already there? He was with Adam and Eve. He came as Immanuel. He lives in us now. He has never once moved. The chaos of life does not push God away. It just convinces us to put back the veil He already tore down.
