He has his own songs like: “How Can I Make You Mine”, “Trouble Blues”, “Still My Love Grows”, & “If I should Get To Heaven” just to name a few.Vel Omarr has natural singing talent. He’s someone I wouldn’t really call an impersonator. Vel has too much talent. When he sings, it’s really him singing. It’s really his voice. He just happened to sound like Sam Cooke.
