Vele Shines Despite Loss | New Orleans Saints News

Devaughn Vele delivered a dazzling performance in the Saints’ overtime loss, hauling in seven of nine targets for 69 yards and a touchdown, including a clutch 31-yard catch that set up a field goal. Despite the defeat, his focus—driven by his coach’s mantra to “fall in love with the ball”—shone through as he locked in on every pass. Vele credited quarterback Tyler Shough for trusting him and praised Shough’s growing leadership, especially after their explosive second-half comeback. He sees this as the “right time, right opportunity” and believes the offense’s intensity in the second half proves they can dominate if they start strong. With playoff aspirations, Vele knows the team must ignite from the opening whistle to turn losses into wins. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
