However, her pride sometimes leads her to act superior to her teammates. When teammate Valerie injures her leg, Victoria's teammates rally around her with support and visits to the hospital. However, Victoria chooses to prioritize racing over visiting Valerie, believing that winning is more important. As Victoria races alone, but realizes winning isn't the only thing that matters. Through this experience, Victoria learns the importance of teamwork, empathy, and putting the needs of others before her own ambitions.
