In September 2022, Vendease announced its Series A, raising $30 million in venture capital.Oyewale shares the main lesson learnt from his role at Vendease: "It's really important to be focused on the problem you are solving for your customers. You need to understand the problem. How can you do that? Talk to your customers. Don't assume anything about the problem. You need to talk to the people who are affected by the problem and its pain points. It's then you will have clarity. Then you can help your customers."
