O mercado está cada vez mais dinâmico, e as exigências para suprir as expectativas do cliente não se resumem apenas às experiências práticas e tácitas dos vendedores. Vender é arte, mas hoje mais do que nunca, também é ciência. Um bom vendedor não se resume mais, exclusivamente, a oferecer produtos aos clientes e finalizar as compras. Para vender é preciso que a equipe de vendas tenha competências que possibilitem o fechamento da venda, mas que também proporcionem um relacionamento de credibilidade e confiança entre o cliente e a empresa. Os vendedores precisam estar capacitados, e para isso é preciso que a empresa saiba as suas reais necessidades para que possa desenvolver as competências necessárias em seu grupo.
