It is hosted by Brenda Gonzalez and Delsy Sandoval who are both based in Los Angeles. At the intersection of advocacy and self-care, we discuss culture from a progressive Latina lens including political issues, mental health and well-being, and personal development. Our guests are changemakers advancing justice, culture-makers breaking barriers, or healers including therapists and health practitioners promoting the wellbeing of Latinos.

We invited our friend, Juan Escalante to share his thoughts on the situation in Venezuela. Listeners may know Juan as a long-time advocate for immigrants stemming from his own experience as a formerly undocumented young person who fled Venezuela with his family. He is a nationally recognized digital strategist and a leading voice in immigrant rights. Once a DACA recipient, Juan has since become a U.S. Citizen and remains a fixture at state, local, and national advocacy campaigns. Juan published an excellent piece on DOUBLE CLICK, his online publication, immediately after the US’s intervention in his native Venezuela..
