Venus in Western Art
from Art Club Hosted by Art Club
Paint a picture, it'll last longer! This week Art Club has a mini art history lesson as we look at the goddess Venus in western art from antiquity to today. The sisters marvel at the soap opera that is mythology, learn that word choice really is crucial and look for that classic gothic curve (you know where her limbs are too long but in a hot way). Oh and there is more Titan, hallelujah! Find images and links to what we discussed at artclubpodcast.com
