Send us a text and chime in!Yavapai County Community Health Services (YCCHS) will offer the PreventT2 lifestyle change program to Verde Valley residents. Prevent T2 is part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program, led by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and is proven to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. The CDC estimates that more than 1 in 3 adults – 96 million Americans – have prediabetes. More than 8 in 10 adults with prediabetes don’t know they have it. Prediabetes increases the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.
