Een overzicht van het belangrijkste mobiliteitsnieuws! Elektrische bestelauto's zijn meer in trek nu de bpm-vrijstelling op diesels is afgeschaft, Tesla wil de productie van de Semi nu écht opvoeren, Toyota en Waymo gaan mogelijk samenwerken en Citroën lanceert de nieuwe Ami in Nederland. De verkoop van elektrische bestelauto's is in het eerste kwartaal met bijna 46% gestegen in Nederland. Dat blijkt uit cijfers van de ACEA. De stijging komt mede door het afschaffen van de bpm-vrijstelling op dieselbusjes per 1 januari 2025. Veel ondernemers hebben vorig jaar nog een diesel aangeschaft. De verkoop van diesels daalde in het eerste kwartaal met ruim 93%. In geen enkel ander Europees land was de afname zo scherp als in Nederland. Verder in deze update: Tesla zoekt duizend werknemers om de productie van de Semi op te voeren. Toyota en robotaxidienst Waymo gaan mogelijk samenwerken op het gebied van autonoom rijden.
