Ondanks dat er meer dan 400 mensen zijn gedood, duizenden demonstranten zijn opgepakt en de eerste doodvonnissen zijn opgelegd. Uit nieuwe berichten blijkt dat het Iraanse regime bij het intimideren van betogers geen enkele grens schuwt. Veel betogers die zijn opgepakt blijken de afgelopen tijd ook te zijn verkracht.
