Vernon County's Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative

Vernon County Sheriff, Roy Torgerson and Clinical Director and Program Manager, Susan Townsley speak to Kristin and Brian about how they are combating domestic violence in their county. To do so they created the Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative. Torgerson and Townsley explain how and why their initiative was so successful, what it was like to present it at the international association of the chiefs and how they’ve helped victims overcome cycles of abuse.
