Veronica Mars S01E16- Betty & Veronica

Hey there delightful listeners, and welcome to the next episode of Veronica Mars in which we get to see some of the aftermath of Veronica going to see her mother. Now, I'm not entirely sure whether there's something going on that I'm not supposed to know as a viewer yet, but I am having a really hard time understanding how Veronica was able to sit with her mom and get this whole sordid tale out of her, and how she was able to take her mother to rehab, if there's a mysterious shadowy entity watching and threatening her. We saw a dude leave, glaring at Veronica. Was that nothing? Was it just simple paranoia that made Veronica so sure he was involved? Then there's the whole other thing with the mascot getting stolen. I actually found this subplot to be pretty entertaining, and that prank with the goat meat was fucked up and yet pretty brilliant.
