In this episode of VNfiniti we are sharing tips in an effort to close the wealth gap, leave assets to the next generation of thinkers, doers & trailblazers. Yes, we are aware that systematic inequalities have contributed to racial disparities. However, we also know that there’s a vast amount of knowledge and resources available to us if we’d simply access them. Here’s the thing, our ancestors ascended from slavery building businesses and acquiring mass wealth against all odds. During this time, a number of Black Wall Streets emerged throughout the states, until decimated by envious, lazy white mobs. As a result, from the early 1920’s up until policies and laws were changed in the latter 1900’s, systemic symptoms crippled our communities with poverty. So, the question posed now is, what’s keeping the black community from rising in the ranks of accruing wealth? The blueprints are written, whether we refer to them or re-invent the wheel, what changes will you make today to change your reality for tomorrow?
