Not very long ago, fashion in the medical world was non-existent. Scrubs were boxy, ill-fitting, and mostly came in unflattering shades of bile green. Fortunately, with the passage of time, medical fashion has evolved. Now we have choices that include fashionable, trendy scrubs with flattering fits and a rainbow assortment of available colors.  We all deserve to look and feel good at work. Fashion is a way we can express our personalities. Without it, we would be indistinguishable from our coworkers – and, as you’ll find out in this issue, fashion can also exhibit one’s beliefs and values. In this issue, we introduce you to twin veterinarians, Dr. Alison Shen and Dr. Audrey Shen who have teamed up with fashion expert and entrepreneur Rebecca Lau Marsh to create 21Scrubs - a company that offers a range of stylish and fashion-savvy scrubs that are practical, flattering, comfortable, and durable.
