Veteran travel editor, Mijke Smith is not trying to save money when he opts for a road trip instead of a flight from Sydney to Gold Coast. And he doesn’t drive through the night to get there either. Mike prefers the leisurely pace of stopping for one or two nights about halfway there and again about hallway home.
