Veterans for Peace: A Coalition of Activism to let the Democrats know that we have not gone to Brunch

This is a show about activists and activism. We start off with two members of Veterans for Peace talking about legislation and activism to reduce militarism, end the nuclear threat, and redirect funds from defense to something good. Then we move outside of Rep Jim Cooper's office in downtown Nashville where a coalition of groups rallied to call on Mr. Cooper to adopt an aggressive progressive stance concerning a variety of issues. You will hear speakers from Indivisible, Veterans for Peace, Our Revolution, Moms Demand Action, The Mix on Immigration, Mothers for Medicare for All, Sunrise, Nashville Peace and Justice, and Criminal/Racial Justice reform. This is an extraordinary group, a collective, a coalition that proves that progressive groups can work together for a common purpose, showing that different issues are actually all connected. There is no time for BRUNCH just because Biden was elected now is the time to push.
