VFTB 202: The Shinar Directive

from A View from the Bunker Hosted by Derek & Sharon Gilbert

WE ONLY know about Nimrod from a few verses in the book of Genesis, but he has cast a very long shadow across history. Why? What did he do that prompted Yahweh to personally intervene at the Tower of Babel? Dr. Michael Lake, founder and chancellor of Biblical Life College and Seminary, discusses his new book The Shinar Directive: Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition. According to Dr. Lake, Nimrod is the source of most of the modern mystery religions on Earth today and was able to do something that not even the supernatural Watchers were able to do. Here is a link to my essay "The Double-Headed Eagle: Scottish Rite Freemasonry's Veneration of Nimrod". Also, I recommend bookmarking the Human Exceptionalism blog by Wesley J. Smith. Please join Derek and Sharon Gilbert Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM Central Time (GMT -5) for the Gilbert House Fellowship. Our plan is to study through the Bible in a live webcast every Sunday morning. Log on to www.GilbertHouse.org for more details. Discuss these topics at the PID Radio Cafe, visit the VFTB Facebook page, and check out the great Christian podcasters at the Revelations Radio Network.
