Hi, I'm Barbara, a.k.a. your nursing educator on Instagram. I'm a registered nurse and I make content that's all about helping nursing students thrive. One of the first and easiest things I tell nursing students, if you haven't already done so, upgrade your scrubs to Figgs.

Go to wherefiggs.com and use code FiggsCA for 15% off your first order. That's wherefiggs.com code FiggsCA. Hello, I'm Dan Brooks. Wonderful being with you today.
Here in the Biver Living Network. I want you guys to excel three times. Welcome. It was 20 years ago or something.
I was reading an old book called Future Shock by Alan Toffler. I was just appreciating that when things move so quickly, it really impacts how we breathe. It feels so the sense of overwhelm overload has a breath guess, dysregulated. So I'm going to share with you a quick practice and then I'm going to share the team.
So the quick practice I did yesterday, which I want to encourage you to do. As you do this practice, you can inhale, I want you to have a sense of that color, the rainbow color, because the rainbow color is all about optimism. So what I did is I went to the field, which is a beautiful field that I go to that's with the stream and the woods. If you listen to David Sinclair at Harvard, he's talking about the number one thing you could be doing is movement.
He's a long-jelly expert in the community. We're going to get to that today. So what I do is when I practice my practices, I practice everything around an infinity movement or a circle-eight movement. So I brought my weights.
I have 210 pound weights. And I started through these circular movements. And what it does, it kind of frees up my mind because the infinity movement that someone called me is from the... There you go.
Well, welcome, welcome, welcome. I'm going to welcome our general of vision, the anthropology and inquiry into this big big place of health. She's an MD, a former professor, to colleague of my hero, Dr. Rowley Hunt, who was a scientist and studied energy healers.
Here she is today as a sole medical doctor, intuitive doctor, I know he's sharing something that's a buoyant. And the worst for today's show would definitely be, what's the word? Brightness. Right?
I'm able to do bright. Welcome, Dr. Gail Randall. Thank you.
I'm not sure if you said that I talk about bland things, but... No, I didn't say that. I didn't say that. I've been accused of saying that several months ago, but I didn't say that.
I know, personally. But anyway, I just want to take this opportunity to thank you because this is one of the bright spots in my week. To get together with all of you, vibrant exemplifiers and wisdom people. It's just so loving and so incredible for me too, because we're all teaching each other.
And we're all learning and growing together in an exponential fashion. And it's because of you, Glenn, you brought us all together. And I just want to honor you for that and your wisdom in being able to pick the right people. So thanks so much for that.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you for being the mouthpiece. Love you, Gail. Thank you for bringing us all together. Yes, well, you know, it's true.
I mean, I just love you guys so much. And it's a chance for all of us to, you know, express our highest whole expression. And we get to do it together. You know, it's just so much fun and it's so real, you know, and we can help other people at the same time.
So that's my bread and butter. Anyway. Well, I want to thank you. First of all, I sent my appreciation to Chris at Oun times radio.
When I first met him, I told me two years ago, I said, you know what I want to do is I want to develop a network. And continue what I do so that these vibrant resources and people could turn their lives into a vibrant story and bring other people into their lives. So a lot of what we run on is sort of like counterfeit. It's not real.
And I was saying to Lisa this morning that one of my heroes was a publisher. Thanks, Chris. Me as a world to me. We're up to expanding our network in a big way.
We're putting a summit together in August. So one of my heroes was Bernami Kavad, and it was the world's biggest publisher. And I was saying, Lisa, you know, there's politics and this policy. I learned this from my son, Michael.
So policy is the implementation, you know, beyond the personality of things that matter. And I realized early on in my life, I read Bernami Kavad. And so as an example, he was the world's biggest publisher in the office of New York City. And during the depression, he made real food available to people, people going there for a couple of pennies, you know, so the thing right now is the policy implementation that makes life better.
More connected. And obviously the agricultural department is a big deal that everyone had access to real food. Hi, I'm Barbara, AKA your nursing educator on Instagram. I'm a registered nurse and a great content to help nursing students feel ready to take on anything and everything that comes with the job.
And trust me, it's a lot. Here's one of my favorite and simplest pro tips. Upgrade your scrubs to figs. Figs are designed for us.
They are super soft, lightweight and breathable with four ways stretch to keep up with your every move. Polish, professional silhouettes, check. Functional details and pockets in all the right places, check and check. No matter what your day has in store, figs has layers to match.
Their undersgrubs are perfect on their own or as a lightweight base layer to help keep you cool and dry. And when the temperature drops, their outerwear styles are made for everything from chilly commutes to freezing hospital hallways. If you're in healthcare or love someone who is, check out figs. Head to wherefigs.com and use code figs CA for 15% off your first order.
That's wherefigs.com code figs CA. It would be so huge. And so every day they hold a press conference and every day they need to talk about food, every day they talk about the quality of our lives. So we talk everybody in that everybody's an expert on so much so watching.
I think about holding a vibrant soap box, soap washing challenge. But so the thing is, the other thing we need to do is we also need to clean intimacy and close us in our day and move in our day. And so it's just that the message is so one-sided, right? It's very on the outside.
And when you have an outside message, you're nervous. I was talking about this. So our nervous system is always tracking things. We safe.
We can make it. We can survive. Don't be tracking. But it's very rare that we actually let down.
That's why the breathing. The exhale is to exhale during the day and just imagery of the rainbow. And also that the policy, you know, the policy implementation, like how do we really take both education about foods and the wonder of vibrant cuisine and also social value? That was the only thing I wanted to kind of get into today.
So the original topic, we're going to have Kathleen on today, Naege. If something came up, she's not on list. We're going to talk about how to raise your frequency, how to raise your frequency, so move it and sound. So let's, first of all, let me introduce Sherry Marquez, who's our dog mystic.
I have a special mission with Sherry today. Welcome, Sherry, the dog mystic. Everything you didn't know of everything that you've always wondered about. I just don't know what about that was that quickly sound.
Everything you've wondered about about, are you suspected about your dog? You know, some people have the sense that the dog is, it means so much in their lives. And yet it usually isn't covered in the realm of just dog training. It's really covered in a more intuitive realm.
It's covered in a mystical realm around that sort of out of the everyday rational. And yet people who like them and say about the dogs, whether it's virtually, emotionally, physically, they want to deepen that connection. So we're going to have a second with you, Sherry. I had a deeper connection with your dog.
And we're going to be featuring a note to, a YouTube star, actually, who just adopted a puppy in Texas in the last couple of weeks. And he just got the puppy. And I thought it'd be fun to talk about his puppy, David's puppy. And he's fianceed Juliet because they do this video.
And I just thought it'd be fun to bridge audiences talking to a cinema copy of the show we're doing today. And I'm only talking about how to send something else that's irresistible. So this message of the dog mystic and also want to bridge this with David who just got a puppy and brought it back home. And I thought that would be part of our mission today as we talk about how to deepen our connection with our dog.
So I know that Chris is a dog lover. And it's fun talking to dog lovers. I always love talking to people about their dogs because they usually tell me something less, usually a pre-signifying lesson or the feeling of them talking about just feels pretty wonderful. So welcome dog.
Thank you. I'm so grateful to be here. And thank you for reaching out to me a year and a half ago and and bringing me on the team and creating the spot. I'm totally grateful.
I love it. And I do want to say you are my paper. I had a cup of your house and I did. That was my paper route show.
That's how I learned to be a coach. I learned to be a coach. I had a paper route. And for some people they would linger and I have this conversation with them.
Somehow in that conversation I would come around and get to their houses and they would have their eyes will be a little brighter. So getting back to brightness. We had a conversation which I could have, I wish I could have released. We didn't record it.
I had a conversation with Dr. Annie Rosenfarbout, seeing people travel the world to see him around their eyes and their whole being. But we talked a lot about the rediscovering of brightness that when people's healing comes to the surface, their creators were off. They have this sense of brightness.
And when we were really discussed to this one of us how to raise your frequency through sound and movement. And so I want to say that if we talk about sound and movement, that's why relationship to dogs. I feel as sense of their sound, the way they move and breathe impacts me deeply. And it raises my frequency to be around them.
That's it. It's this. And what's in that is all these experiences. So the whole mission with dogmasic is how you share your story and to develop this other conversation and resource.
It's kind of like imagine when you're in a room, right? You're in a room and the conversation tips a little bit. And people share experiences they were embarrassed about, they're awkward about. One of my heroes was two significant people growing up.
One of them was a guy named Jack Schwartz. So Jack Schwartz was a, I think it was clean. He was a freedom fighter. He helped Jews.
He was a Holland. He was a freedom fighter. Anyway, the Nazis captured him. And they would beat and whip him.
And he didn't know what to do about this. He was a prisoner. But as he consciously forgave them, this is going back to the idea of frequency and sound that he gave them, his wounds would heal instantly. He had no scars.
So when he left the prison, he went to the United States and he went to the manager foundation and actually studied him. So he can only heal those wounds instantly. But he also very similar to Wim Haas, a Wim Haas, I'm saying, he's named for us. He also known as the Iceman, who similarly could actually ingest toxins or viruses and reverse them.
So he was the first person. And one of his big themes was, you know, you are what you say. You are what you are what you are what you emanate. If you emanate a certain something, if you put it out there, it becomes part of your life.
And so, you know, my experience with dogs and particularly this one, I was a big game changer. So we're going to go into, you know, we're going to go into whatever you have to David's called, how to beast his name is a video. It was a YouTube store. And we're going to talk about, you know, in this time having a new copy, a new dog, and I'm also going to talk what I like about David's YouTube channel.
I want to acknowledge David and Julie for what they're doing. And his name is David DeLa Marinas. Okay, I'm going to count on you for that name. So I mean, I've been sort of catching David.
I've got to be in the film. I don't worry about it. And then, thank you. I like that.
I really like it. It's a powerful service, by the way. And I want to welcome, welcome, welcome. I'm honored you're here.
The mission is so powerful. It's so wonderful. Again, especially now that everybody's, I don't know, on some level, this future shock has occurred so quick that I think that for a lot of people, the best thing they could be doing is he's doing that exhaling. I'll be doing that again later today.
I'll be going to the park and I'll be exhaling and I'll be what I do is I lift my weights and I look to the sky. As I see this guy, it expands my mind. And as I do that, I reach deep into the earth with the bottom of my feet. So when we exhale, we were resetting up our nervous system, which is usually enough happens when I'm around dogs.
So dogs actually naturally live that unless you, you know, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you domesticate to them so much they can't do that. Which is talked about in this little book. It's called Crazy Dogs. Crazy People Crazy Dogs.
So don't, you know, basically, you allow your dog to be. They'll always, they'll always share this with you. So we're going to talk about that in our segment. I want to welcome and acknowledge Lisa LaRose, who's, she's definitely a gift.
She's definitely been assisting in a close family member for many years. I appreciate very much what you do, Lisa. And, and really in some ways I have this, this vision that feels so wondrous sharing about vibrant living. And I'm still discovering.
And I really, so the word for me today, I give one word to everything. It's total vulnerability because in the last few days I just had someone I cherish in love. And they gave me such, they gave me the kind of feedback that melted me down. I was just sort of like, it was such strong feedback.
I didn't know what to do with it. And slowly it came to the surface. And now there's this other sense of respect and love. And I, and one of my, one of my, I guess I went to my close mentors, which is saying he just did a group of people.
He just did a group of people for seven days. And the key thing, these are all leaders, people with very high social influence. And he was saying he just said that being vulnerable with them was the most powerful thing he's ever done. So this is a moment that vulnerability is such a, such a medicinal, beautiful thing.
Like I'm, I'm just seeing it again that, you know, we think powers are saying to get to, but really the beginning of power is vulnerability. You have to look at how it allows power, not true power, not force. It's vulnerability to be as genuine as you can be. And be willing to let others kind of sense be where they are.
Now, Gail said something last week and welcome Lisa. Welcome. Thank you. Thank you.
Yeah, I just wanted to comment real quick, Glenn, because, you know, you were talking about movement and also the nervous system. And I don't know if you've ever seen standing in line, you might find yourself doing it. You're sort of, you're seeing people sort of shifting their weight from one side to the other. That swaying motion.
Well, that swaying motion actually helps pump the cerebral spinal fluid. And, you know, I think that when we get disconnected through, you know, nervous trauma or stress that we sometimes, you know, we need, we need that sort of as self care. And, you know, Catherine couldn't be with it today, but you know, the brain has different frequency states, you know, and Gail, I'd love your input on this, you know, the alpha brain frequencies, the data, which is very deep. The monks tend to achieve the delta brain, which when we sleep, you know, we go into that level of consciousness.
But I think, you know, and getting back, you know, to the nervous system, you know, nerve cells or electrical cells. So we don't really think of ourselves as electrical beings. But when our nervous system is overloaded, when we have a lot of, you know, chronic negative experiences, it really is detrimental to our health and to our prosperity. So, you know, if you can do the simple practices, such as, you know, the rainbow practice or some of the other attunements that are exercised that you've been given and the wisdom that has been shared, you know, it really does make a difference to the body.
And really your stress, your heart rate, your blood pressure, you know, you can increase blood flow to all the cells and really change your experience. So, you know, I just want to thank you, Glenn, for the reminder of movement and how important that is to us. I love what you said. I love the swaying.
That's so beautiful. And so that's beautiful. I love simple. And that's just so right on.
Simple guys. I want to acknowledge you said Gail, it totally transformed me last week. It was sort of in private. So at the risk of sharing something that was private, but I have to feel like when I share it, you'll be very happy about it.
So should I take the risk? Go ahead. I think that was really good. Thank you, Lisa.
So what's been a dilemma since the start of, I call this the Twilight Zone, or I don't know what they call it. So much is socially shifted for so many people. It's such a rate, you know, like it's such a plan. So one of the things that I feel is going to keep us saying her and saying her.
I said one of the conversations before the show is sort of like, what are the fundamentals, you know? So last week I had this conversation with Gail. And I realized it's been all this controversy about to mask or not to mask, like why are we wearing masks? And for some people, I don't know what you're experiencing.
So I want you guys to share about this. But I was in place the other day. A couple weeks ago, I had this face shield on. He had rubberized underwear on.
He literally looked like a stormtrooper from like Sarge, you know, and I'm thinking, wow, we got to get out for the war, you know? I went to the town. I was a German. I wouldn't come near him.
I'd be scared just by the outfit. So Gail said something last week that was so striking to me. She was in a conversation at a retail store that had food where she said the staff was incredibly leisurely, totally ignoring social distancing, no masks. And she spoke to the, you spoke to the manager and said, I wear this mask.
Oh, you want to tell them? Sorry? It's my story. It's your story.
That's true. I, oh my God. Okay. I guess I guess, Lisa should be able to tell the story.
I guess. There were these young people that were clumping. And this is a health store. They were clumping.
And I call it clumping. And I call them co-media. So if they're talking up, you know, they can give it to each other, right? Right.
Right. Right. My store where I'm shopping, where they could read it on the food, you know, and I didn't think it was good for them. They could give it to each other.
They could give it to other people. They had no masks. They had no gloves. They had nothing.
They were sort of arguing when they were going to go to this party, but they didn't want to feel judged or something. So I said, could you let me shop here, please? And they backed up six feet, which made me realize they understood what they should be doing. And then I went to the back of the store with a manager who I know was standing in front of the yogurt with one of his employees, also no masks, also no gloves.
And I said, oh, could I get to the yogurt, please? And they backed up six feet. So when I got a chance, I went up to the manager who I know. And I said, I'm wearing this mask because I love you.
And I think you should give us the same courtesy. Also, you're creating a very bad example for these younger people here. They need to see you in a mask and gloves, which is what we're being asked to do right now. And he said, you're right.
And so I saw on Instagram a few days later, we were standing with his employees in the middle of what are the aisles with masks and gloves over their arms up like, yay, you know, so I guess it made a difference. So I was happy about that. That's awesome. Your words are just made the manager realize that you're right.
There's no reason why. Like his decision was, was ruining it for for all the employees and everybody that was in there. So, Chris, for you. Anyway, that was a good time.
You know, can I just share this, Glenn? Is this a? Sure. Yes.
I just wanted to share. There's, you know, five factors that determine whether a person's going to die from the COVID virus. You guys know about it? So those five factors.
And this is a known thing that they know from watching so many people die, although the actual death rate is low. I guess a pandemic. It's below 5%. But if you're one of the 5% you know it's low.
And we all know somebody has been touched by this. So the five factors are obesity, diabetes, anxiety and depression, immunosuppression, age, and pre-existing respiratory illness, which sort of makes sense. But if you take those five factors and you overlay them on what we've been talking about, how to create a miraculous healing or accelerated or quickened healing, they're all cancelled out. You know, so if we can change our perspective 180 degrees to our illness and see it in another light instead of, oh, I'm going to die.
Oh, this is going to, this is going to be a gift in this. If you can change your lifestyle and diet, which is huge because that covers diabetes, obesity. And if you can change your perspective 180 degrees, that addresses the anxiety and the depression. If you can take a few supplements that might help out your immunity.
And I put that up on my Instagram, what the supplements are like in February, I think. And if you have an openness to something greater, spirit, God, you know, to the one mind, that's going to address all those factors. We can't get less old, but we can get more healthy for our age. And that's going to be with being open, innocent, open your heart to healing, and having that spiritual conduction.
And then of course, community and family always help, so stay connected. So if you can do all of those things and put yourself in that place, which you can do now, you're going to be less likely to be severely affected by this virus. It's a wonderful opportunity to take a crisis and really turn it into the blossoming. And in Chinese, we talk about it this springtime to turn this into a new springtime of well-being and to let your full, I love what Lisa had to say.

So listening to the vibrant living network. So a shared story, a shared vibrant story. So this morning this woman said to me, she said, and stay healthy. And I realize it was a 90% that she didn't say verbally, it just felt so good.
So we're around people and you could use your voice, your movement, and your being. Take a moment because we're in this precious thing called life. And when the perception of the thread comes up, it's to participate more. I want to invite you guys.
I think about our number. So something was said today that's moving you. As we spread and open up, when I was spreading the virus or eradicating the virus, we're actually eradicating the thought virus of fear and over an over-emergency state. So what Lisa was saying about swaying in line, that's re-respirating and recalibrating the system.
It's a very significant practice. And the people who think about these practices, they take sometimes 15 seconds to move. Sometimes 15 seconds to minutes is an example, raising your hands, raising your hands and moving them, just in a figure 8 motion. Just doing simple things and having a vibrant vision, which is all about the vibrant living challenge, which I'm going to share with you more at the end towards the end of the show.
I want to give you another number. If you move to share something, to energize yourself and others, you have a question. I want you to call us today. It's area code 202.
This is the vibrant line right now for you. 570-7057-2057. I got some calls in from Texas. Some texts from you guys.
So call in. Say something. Be brave. Or as I know someone who's close to me says, don't be foolish.
Because they paint now. Be foolish. So there's a picture. This is end painting.
It's very famous end painting. Tell me, have you guys, my team members have seen this painting. It's in the painting. It's at a beautiful restaurant.
There's a fire. And what you see is the patrons, everybody's running until I just want to exit, or these really small doors. And there's a few people just sitting and noticing and seeing these other openings, whether it's windows or places they could leave. And the people that panic, they get jammed in the doorways together.
They get frozen. And the idea is that seeing this is one of them. Someone said to me yesterday, she said, I think you're listening right now. She said, well, in my life, I want to be seen and recognize it's being irresistible.
So these irresistible moments in our day. We begin to see. And that scene is both practical and inspired. It's practical and inspired.
And we share that together. We open up a new place. And that third space, by the way, the third space is a space that's different than home or work. And it gives us almost, if you were like almost like another oxygen pack.
I'm seeing the UTS man come. He's not wearing a mask. I'm going to track him down with my mask. Someone's doing a humor project, by the way, around this.
They're doing a humor project, how the culture is responding. So humor is another resource. So say, someone asked me to go to Whole Foods all day and just engage and play with people. So this is an open question.
And it's from the book, The Awaken Tiger, People of Minds Voice. It always sticks at me because of that work. It really impacts me. And I encourage this in people.
And I've had it happen where I was going to Whole Foods one day. And I had done this workshop on intimacy. And it was a woman from the training in that workshop. And we became, at first we weren't friendly at all.
I violated. She baked. She was a woman from the training. She said there's two things I don't want you guys to ask me about.
And she goes, my experience in Hawaii and the other one was my relationship to food analogies. And she said it's a very, very serious way. And this is opening night. Opening night was to share with the rest of the group things that you were concerned about.
Now, there was another one that really struck me. Her teenage son had passed away in a car crash. And she said if I cried during this weekend, it's not going to be because I want you guys to know she lost her son. So with her, of course, being playful and playing with people is something that's wrong.
I kind of asked her about her die. She was a little bit more than a kid. She got very angry at me and she gave me the finger. And I actually did that.
Her friend whispered to my ears. She goes, it's her stuff, not your stuff. I said, I look back. I said, thank you.
Well, one day, six months later, after she, you know how you know when you're kind of angry with someone or you want to avoid them? We socially saw each other, but we never interacted. But now it's six months later, I'm at Whole Foods. And I'm having a rough style.
She comes over and she goes, she asks her, she gets it down with me. She tells me I wanted to put my salad. I thought this is fascinating. We had this mini grievance.
The grievances are the most significant doorways have holy ground together. So holy ground is sort of like we put the whole thing together. So she got really close to me after this. And I started hoping one day and she looked at me and she said, it's been really, really tough, but I cry around you.
And I said, absolutely. And it was a summer's day and she cried incredibly loudly. Like everyone looked at it and said, it was one of those days I wanted to be really okay. So giving other vision permission to be themselves and to let them express.
I practiced that as often as I can. And sometimes it's not as even if they ask me, but I could say I could see if they're angry or grumpy. They sometimes just need permission to be in a way that they don't know how to be. They don't know how to be.
So one of the white gales coming about the mass was so relevant. It's in my life. It's not just a thing. It's just a thing.
It's just a thing. So I learned how to be, right? It is overloaded. So one of the white gales coming about the mass was so relevant.
It's in my life when I put my mask on. I feel like you're inspired because right now one of the confusion is who has this virus or not when people contain this or not? So part of why we're wearing the mask is to protect other people. We may not even have it.
We don't know. So I think the social awareness of it was a beautiful contribution ago. All right. So I talked to.
I talked to Sharon Marquez, the dog was like about irresistibleness. What makes something irresistible? What makes something irresistible? We're talking about I said to Sheri, I said I want.
I said, give this wonderful wisdom to share with people. And I know this guy has got this, how to be a beast. How to be a beast goes up to 400,000 people. And it's basically David and his girlfriend.
You know David's full name, Sherry. This is where you're going to be the star of this. You're going to say David's full name. It's called How to Beast.
And it's basically his journey with his girlfriend and how to build his deeper social life and go past, like, you know, lack of confidence. And so last week's, oh, the current episode is, is we're becoming parents. And I was telling Sherry this one, I want to connect with David and introduce you to David and Julie and talk to them about to share some of the secrets of the dog mystic that could put them in deeper harmony with their dog. And also because I just really like what David's doing.
It's sort of this one of a kind of adventure he shares and gets sponsored by all these different people. And it just, it sort of came to me. So true love happens in the spontaneous. True love happens in the spontaneous.
So I wanted, I said on the show, say we're going to write him a brief email, one that we aired the show and acknowledge his full name and the name of his show. And you said, I will take care of that for you. So now this is your moment to do that. David, they last marinas.
One more time. David, they last marinas. Okay. And it's called How to Beast.
It's on YouTube. And I admire the YouTubers. My brilliant son is one of them who basically designed formats that give people, I mean, I know the commercial media is ridiculous, right? It's just ridiculous.
It's a repetition of the same message. It's nothing for the most part that really contributes to us. And so I appreciate David's journey of kind of going in his own line from a challenge to a conference in his body. And all of a sudden sharing this wonderful journey with you.
And I love Julie. I always feel your contributions are just so good, Julie. You're the silent hero. You're so good.
I appreciate your voice. You're sharing your own experiences. So I just appreciate them. I appreciate them.
And they've been sharing what it's like to live in quarantine. And I share their road trip to get the puppy. So we're going to feature you on the show. You and Julie.
And Sherry's going to give you. She wants to contribute some of this unusual wisdom around dogs with you that can make your life more in tune because you refer to your dogs as many people. Those are the new puppy being a brother of the other dog. And so we're sending you this tape as we go out today to our whole environment living network on the own times radio.
So Sherry, what do you want to say to David and Julie? Introduce yourself as a dog, Missy. And everybody else is listening into it. Of course.
Well, that's why I was going to go. Please, please, I'm Missy. My name is Sherry Marquez. I am the dog mistake.
And David, and I apologize to your girlfriend's name. I apologize to your girlfriend's name. Julie. Julie.
Congratulations on your new puppy. And bringing in another dog to introduce this to your other dog. It's exciting and can be stressful at times, just because a puppy is just like a baby. A dog's mind and a child's mind are almost exactly the same.
But if they know they can get away with something, they're going to push it for everything that they can. And sometimes with the older dog, if the older dog sees that the puppy is getting away with all the stuff that he or she is not allowed to get away with, then they can start regressing and getting back into their old habits. So it's extremely important to get off on the right paw. Just to create good habits that your older dog is used to.
So first thing that's extremely important is to keep the puppy on a watch or a confine. When you can watch the dog and the dog is with you and it sounds silly, but if you have the dog on a leash inside the house and you put it underneath the table, like a table leg, you can put a belt on and put the loop of the leash through the belt. So the dog is with you. So you're not like holding onto the leash like all the time.
But the reason for that is just so the puppy can't sneak off and start chewing on something or go to the bathroom. And when you can't watch the dog and it's even for one minute. If you have to go back and real quick, and if that one minute that the dog is like, oh, you're not watching me. I'm like, cool, perfect.
Let me go to the bathroom and bite on something. So they just take advantage of that, you're not paying attention. So within that first minute or that minute that you can't watch, you can't find whether it's a crate. If you don't agree with crates, then you can use a play pen.
If you can play pen, they're all different sizes. Or you can confine them in a hallway or a certain room. There's many different ways of confining. A crate is not a bad thing, but everybody has their own choices there.
But watch or confine. So it's extremely important just so it releases the stress and damage to shoes or accidents to clean up. So again, congratulations on the puppy. And just very exciting.
Congratulations. By the way, congratulations, David. I know you just went to, you guys just went to 400,000 subscribers on YouTube. So congratulations.
Congratulations on your life. And also definitely congratulations on your marriage. I saw your proposal and Julie. It was great.
I appreciate it a lot. You were kind of doing this wonderful part of Mexico. And you guys are on the beach. And I just love the experience of love comes from the spontaneous.
We cannot rehearse. We need to live this pulse. And the vulnerability of living in it is challenging and new because we often have been taught to rehearse to be this thing called ourselves. And the problem with the challenge I have, and I love your descendants book title, which is, it's all about the book title.
Thank you. What a great title. Yes, breaking the habit of being ourselves. Right.
So go ahead, Lisa. Oh, OK. OK. I just, you know, I thought the lead.
Yeah, I want to say what's so relevant about that is that what we call being ourselves is often accumulation of habits and defenses and armor. And the thing about it is, is that to be in a vulnerable spot, to be in a vulnerable spot to risk and allow something new. And so to allow something new, that's why Lisa's exercise about swaying. It's something new.
A lot of times we're monitoring ourselves, right? So we're more scared of embarrassment than feeling vital energy. So to feel vital energy and to give ourselves permission is an honor for ourselves and others. So to break the habit of being ourselves and to break the habit of the way we usually are together, create another experience or give the doorway to intimacy.
So intimacy is such a healer. So as much as I appreciate it and I do, I practice, my neighbor came over less, I love my neighbors. I drive, I've helped my neighbors. I've driven in places.
One of them got a DWI or we was drinking and I would drive them. And one day they had this horrendous fight in my car and I was like, I'm not going to take these guys again because they flip out and I got closer driving them home. They both said to me, they just love me so deeply and it just touched my heart and maybe I was able to appreciate them. So what's been happening is every so often that you want to move over.
And I said, well, I made this promise to my daughter and I just need to honor it. I said, I cannot drive you right now. And he always thanks me and it's such a beautiful moment when you could share something and the person he doesn't perceive attack like he knows I'm telling the truth. So I was very inspired me and Joe just had to share a mutual teacher.
And my teacher, how we would say is that, you know, we need to, we need to feel things real right now. So right now feel yourself healthy, see and feel yourself well and and break the habit of being yourself by watching what you're about to say and don't say it. If it doesn't ring deep and at the same time, take it like I guess you can say what happened on less 40 hours. I had some conversation.
I was close with someone and he needed to say something that was really strong and it was really strong. You know, and I just stayed as vulnerable. I could to what his message was and what his message was. And there was some level it was it was it brought up some different part of the feelings of fear and and but to hang so hanging together to practice what I might call sort of this practice of relational presence or this relational thing that we, you know, we allow something.
So I really want to work with speakers. People want to be courageous speakers and vibrant speakers. The thing that stops them is they monitor themselves. So to break the habit of that see that habit.
See that habit. I argue this by the way, I take people walking and I have them just practice jumping and feeling the heels and feeling feeling themselves. So they're not just being mechanical. So this so breaking mechanicalness is one of the most significant things we could do to allow our systems and our lymphatic systems.
I don't know if I system is the pump. You know, actually I make it a point every day to jump some as well. So I'm just a little secret just a few minutes just kind of just lightly jump. Right.
So like don't be an adult for a little bit. Break the habit of being yourself and all other people to break that out of being themselves in particularly during a time right now with us. We can you there's a lot of people that have a significant emotional breakdowns. It's almost like their whole world, the perception of the world has changed so quite they don't know what to do with it.
So this is an you know, when I started by living, I really the purpose of vibrant living is to put us in deep touch of vibrancy as a way of life, the frequency, the sound, the awareness and to amplify that for ourselves and others. And at the same time that vibrant living in a radical case or purifies the suffering and stagnation that could be when we don't break the habit of being ourselves. So the vibrant living challenge is talented, have invites people to really practice this together to do the practice. So no matter what I tell you, it's going to be the practice that you feel that you get to others.
So the permanent practicing by the way, to exemplify the people. So when I practice, I feel like I go and I do my circles, my infinity movement and I work with people who want to write a book or something. I'm speaking from my own experience of what happens when I do this practice because I don't know until I do the practice. And then later today, I'm going to do that again.
I'm going to go stand in the field and take my weights, my 10 pound weights and just raise them above my head. And as I do it, I feel a notice. It's not just mechanical. I'm kind of getting a sense of this is happening and how does it affect the movement of my eyes and my toes.
So it's sort of this check in and it's wonderful to do it with a partner. You could do it. You could do it. You know, eight feet away from each other.
Oh, I had a question for Dr. Gail. Gail, is it relevant to wear a mask when you're in the woods or could you totally relax and not have what's your take on this? But I saw this one the other show strike amazing red hair.
We're deep in the field together and she was wearing a mask. Okay, my education until you and to you corrected it, don't be on correct. You don't need to wear a mask outside in the woods. But that's true or not true.
How close you were getting to her. I know she was probably at least 14 feet away from me. You can do social distancing and your relative would you don't have a mask. I want to check because somehow I didn't go to use their light to become a doctor like you.
It didn't occur to me. It seems like it seems like it was such a strong path for you when it was a path for you. I guess it's a blossoming path for you. So my path always.
What's that? Still my path always will be. I'm, you know, I never stop learning. It's like a Zen exercise for me is to learn more and more and more.
And that's why you're a medical woman. You know, you inspire people through so many different aspects and you've chosen the path of integrative medicine because you do tune into wisdom from so many different avenues. And if people haven't visited Dr. Gail's website, it's really a wealth of information in your blog and Instagram.
Thank you for that and the resources that you put out. I don't know which is the best. It's most recent to say people to is it your Instagram or your website? Both because they're different.
The website kind of shows people what I offer and my Instagram is a daily update on a specific subject. We're going to be covering message often. We're going to go more on site. We're going to go more on sound healing.
Is D R G M Randall.com is my website and my Instagram is Dr. Gail Randall D R Gail Randall. So simple. Sherry, go ahead.
Look at the dog. Thank you. Thank you. Gail.
Thank you, Lisa, for being so in tune with the big, the big view and having a big view and distinguishing it like giving out, you know, gail's resource and those five tips today were just great. And so here's the thing when we have fear we get frozen. So the sign of illness and what some people call trauma is frozen is. So these exercises and also becoming aware like the five things that Gail talked about and implementing them.
It stops you from freezing because the level of dissemination of information, not wisdom, is that's it. I don't know. I don't know how people don't catch post traumatic stress from watching the news all that. Please stop doing that.
Go out and walk. It's really because I see you guys and I emphasize if I I think I was talking about Lisa last night, if you watch Lily five to 10 minutes of the news, which is not the news. It's rehash stuff and it's delivered incredibly ignorant. So what in the news, so the difference in vibrant living or vibrant media is that the news focus on the outer events that shape our world, but the outer events, the fires, the diseases, the purpose of vibrant living is really to get you in touch and you have an experience of vibrancy and wonder and what conditions and how to bring that from the inside out from the inside out and to pick one thing in the paper that you can do.
You could personally impact. So I want to say please go off the news, please limit it. It's just it's, you know, pick something that the fix something that's had some some intelligence to it. Most of it doesn't.
Most of it is too much. So go to Dr. The other Reynolds Instagram and learn about the five things and take media breaks, take media breaks and make it a point as you socially distance to experience intimacy. It's fixed feet away.
You know, you can look at the person and you can tell them guys. So it's such a, it's a one of a kind really appreciate people's health. I see the imagery when they move. It's such a miraculous thing movement.
I'm on my trampoline as I speak to you guys right now and bouncing. So it's just, it's just a miraculous thing that we're kind of exchanging and then all of a sudden it's threatened and we get to speak, but beyond this groupness to see the health and others and to recognize and acknowledge it. Like, you know, that takes like, you know, half a second. So I will, I will make it a point today to play with some people.
So it's kind of like it's kind of like my friend, my friend, my friend, what it's called plays like if you like depends on it. So we don't need sports, but we play as a central play as a central. So sure you go on to the dog mystic. So live and well.
She's spreading her message of the hidden things that make your relationship with your dog more wondrous and creative. It's incredible. I didn't know this right now, but my hips wanted to do a dance. I don't even know it.
You know, I want you to feel your body right now. Really this part of your body that I was pressing. You don't even know it. Thank you trampoline.
