Vibraphonist Lolly Allen On Childhood Music & The Beauty of Jazz

I'm infinitely jealous of people who know how to play an instrument. My friend Lolly Allen is a professional vibraphonist and jazz musician. So cool! She writes, sings, and plays her own music. She talks about how her love for a toy as a child got her interested in music, and how her parents fostered that interested throughout college and beyond. This is a great example of a woman who is making her own way in the predominately masculine world of jazz and carving her own path.
