WE CHAT WITH Danny Ryan from the Victorian Duck Hunters Association about the upcoming duck seasons in Victoria and South Australia. As the season approaches, hunters are gearing up and preparing for the season ahead. Danny shares insights into the political support for duck hunting. Victoria has successfully maintained duck hunting through supportive government policies, ensuring sustainability and responsible practices, mainly through the efforts of the VDHA. The current season runs from March 18 to June 8, featuring a nine-bird bag limit and an adaptive harvest model that enhances hunting experiences.
