Vicious elevator attack appeared to be random; excitement builds for the eclipse

In this edition of Eyewitness News Extra Time, we begin with an exclusive in the Bronx where a disturbing attack was carried out on a great grandmother. Police say the attacker, 38-year-old Edwin Rios followed 75-year old Zenona Ramos into the elevator of her apartment building and then stabbed her head and hand multiple times. Ramos is in a hospital, but fortunately, she will survive. The attack appeared to be completely random. Meanwhile, excitement is nearly at its climax as we count down to the total solar eclipse that's just one week away. From Texas to Maine, 31 million Americans across 13 states are in the path of totality, where the moon will completely block the sun.
