Vicomte De Bragelonne Chapter LXXIII - In which Porthos begins to be sorry for having come with D'Artagnan

In which Porthos is abruptly roused from sleep and sent on a hasty and mysterious journey to Paris, much to his dismay, while D’Artagnan and Aramis navigate a delicate game of secrecy and vigilance within the bishop’s palace. The musketeer, suspecting a ruse and growing restless, embarks on a fruitless search for his absent companion, only to be cleverly foiled and sent in swift pursuit of elusive tidings.
