Victims and suspect killed in Montreal shooting identified, as mayor assures city is safe

The Quebec coroner’s office has identified the three people killed in the June 22, 2026, shooting in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood. The victims were Montreal police officer Const. Mohamed Lamine Benredouane, 34, and a civilian bystander, Michel Mizrahi, 68.
