Devotion Frees Episode #66 with Chrissy Blair: This week on Devotion Frees we drop into flow with Chrissy Blair the Co-founder of Kalumi Health. Some believe getting an MBA will mark a path to purposeful careers yet learning processes, supply chain management, relationships, branding, and execution are tested and refined infield. Chrissy is a great example of someone who is hardworking, focused, 100% mission-driven and most importantly devoted to her new venture. Even though correlations between endurance sports athletes and business owners are plentiful there’s one performance component that is difficult to access, mental performance. Chrissy is developing her mental endurance strength and one that is inspiring a lot of entrepreneurs out there especially for young ladies who want to carve out a business path for themselves. It takes a lot of courage and grit to keep going. www.fueltalk.co

  • Interview with Chrissy

    01/09/2022

We had the pleasure of interviewing Chrissy over Zoom video! Phoenix Music Group newcomer Chrissy is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but she is an emerging superstar as a singer, songwriter and actress that is about to take Hollywood by storm! A child of tinsel town since the day she was born, her father is music producer, screenwriter, director, Chris Stokes. But Chrissy didn’t discover her passion for singing and acting until the age of 11. She landed her first paid acting job on the TNT Drama Series ‘Southland’ opposite Emmy Award winning actress Regina King. In 2019, Chrissy got the opportunity to showcase her singing and acting talents on screen when she landed the lead role of ‘Nicki Ross’ in the Urbanflix series “Howard High”. Her latest project “Organic” was released on Friday, November 5th. The 7-track project features her latest singles “Relax”, “Dreamin”, “Love On Me”, “Sometimes”, & “Lowkey” featuring Marques Houston. In addition to her EP, she is also the star of her first full length musical film called Howard High which will be released Friday, February 4th, 2022, with Fox / Tubi. Aside from Chrissy's career as artist and actress, she’ll be releasing her own cosmetic line called CHRISSY, slated for release before 2021 ends.We want to hear from you! • Interview with Chrissy Chlapecka

    06/10/2024

We had the pleasure of interviewing Chrissy Chlapecka over Zoom video! The princess of girlie pop, Chrissy Chlapecka just drreleased her highly anticipated debut EP Girlie Pop. The debut collection is quintessential Chrissy, with an explosion of joyfully queer and cheeky pop songs like “I’m Really Pretty” (Rolling Stone), sapphic cheerleader anthem “Verse” (Rolling Stone), cheeky “10 Boyfriends” and more. When asked what the EP means to her, Chrissy says“Girlie Pop is a collection of songs that represent my love for humor, theatrics and high camp hyperfemininity. With my debut EP, I wanted the world to know what kind of artist I am - one who pushes boundaries in a cheeky yet extremely thoughtful way. My musical theatre roots are all over this project, and I’m honored to share it with the world.” Alongside the vibrant debut EP drop is an ambitious, single-take, music video for “Sugar” - where Chrissy the actress confidently dives into her theater roots, delivering a dynamic performance bold enough for the stage. “I knew I wanted to show off my love for musical theatre one way or another on this project” Chrissy shared. “I love creating visuals, but the visuals I know best are all one take. I put my team up to the challenge, and although there was hesitation with logistics at first, we all knew we could accomplish this. Sugar is the dramatic, raw, camp, over the top side of Chrissy that’s been within me since I first ever stepped onstage at 8 years old. This is who I am, and who you will see more of down the line with my work.”Following Rolling Stone’s Brightest Pop Stars to Watch in 2023, Chrissy was recently highlighted on PEOPLE’s 2024 Spring Emerging Artists List. The queer icon will hit the road on tour this pride season, kicking off at Solid Pink Disco a sold out EP release show in LA and hitting major cities, with stops at cultural hubs like The Grammy Museum along the way.You may have seen Chrissy’s gorgeous mug as the face of “Bimbo-Feminism” in The New York Times, PAPER, Interview, NYLON, or in the year of Barbies and Bimbos, on NPR. Now the subversive online icon is turning total popstar, by way of inspirations like Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga and bold Broadway level drama, only more glitter, camp and pink. Only in her first year of dropping music, the Chicago native has earned over 22M streams on Spotify alone with singles like “BRAT”, “I’m So Hot” and “Head Bitch” and was named one of Rolling Stone’s Brightest Pop Stars to Watch. Her transformation from viral TikToker to pop sensation has left her nearly 6M followers and listeners begging for more more more. And they’re gonna get it.ABOUT CHRISSY CHLAPECKAChicago native and rising pop sensation Chrissy Chlapecka came out the gate swinging with her debut single “I’m So Hot” in 2023. The response was immediate and fervent, earning her immediate accolades from Rolling Stone’s Brightest Pop Stars to Watch, The New York Times, Billboard, Vogue, PAPER, Nylon, The Chicago Tribune, and beyond.  Chrissy not only captivates with her obvious star power, powerful vocals, humor, and magnetic stage presence, but the core of her artistry and journey defies conventional norms. Beneath a glamorous, hyper feminine exterior, Chrissy has solidified a platform rooted in equality, amplifying disenfranchised voices in the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. With each release, Chrissy is leaving an indelible mark on the music industry and forging new paths for the feminist landscape of the future. Chrissy’s debut EP Girlie Pop is out NOW!We want to hear from you! Cannonball of Death

Welcome to Anti-wave Podcast, where Robert Cannon + Ira Heffler discuss all your Anti-wave movie needs. What the hell is Anti-wave, you ask? Great question. In short, Anti-wave is a way to describe films that seek to buck the typical Hollywood trends. Anti-wave is an opportunity to reimagine the way we construct genre films. Anti-westerns have been popular in the years since WWII, but where are the anti-sports films that try to shake off the expected formulaic writing? This podcast tries to find those films for you. Along the way, we deliver some laughs, get into film theory, and speak with filmmakers who share our anti-sentiment. So, welcome to Anti-wave Podcast! We hope you enjoy the ride.

    NOCLIP

WELCOME TO NOCLIP! We are a fortnightly, book club-styled podcast in which we attempt to go in-depth on an individual video game and figure out what makes it unique. Episodes are around an hour to an hour and a half long and primarily feature free form discussion on themes and mechanics present in each episode’s titular game. Bear in mind that we are not reviewers, so as far as we critique the games at hand, our intent is not to convince you to play any particular work. SPOILER WARNING: Given the depth at which we intend to cover the games in question, those which feature a story, plot, mechanical surprises, fun moments you may not have heard about or otherwise will be fully discussed, likely at length. Given this, it is advised that you go into each episode with the understanding that these elements will most likely be spoiled. If you are sensitive to that sort of thing, we recommend that you either play the game before listening to the podcast, or skip the episode altogether. (Though
