16 inch transcription acetate transfer - 2 live recordings from 04-11-1937 meant for broadcast on 04-15-1937 / Master recording done by Victor Damon while in Chicago - Joe Sanders at the Blackhawk & Henry King at the Empire Room (Bob Caldwell MC) / Archived via 33rpm using conical diamond needle tracking at 7.5 grams. Many of the large ticks and pops were manually removed. No computer filters or scratch removals methods were used. There is a bit of hum from the original mics if you listen close enough. It was covered in mold and mildew and had some spots that were literately stuck on the surface. I hand cleaned it up with some mild dish soap and warm h20, which was a FEAT in itself being that the disc is 16 wide, and carefully handling the entire disc as to not get the labels wet was some xxtra work.
