Y es que desde que el magistrado requirió el testimonio del jefe del Ejecutivo, todo fueron pegas por parte de este y de su propio gabinete para evitar tener que comparecer físicamente en los juzgados madrileños. Ante esto, el juez anunció su intención de desplazarse hasta Moncloa para tomar declaración al presidente del Gobierno. Desde Moncloa se sacaron de la manga una inexistente norma para dejar a los letrados sin sus ordenadores y, especialmente, sin sus teléfonos móviles para evitar que la declaración no trascendiera a los medios.
